Beautiful Births

I read a post today at the very wonderful Birth Stories on Demand which caught my attention for a number of reasons. The first of course was the moment my heart seemed to stop beating when I read about Cath’s birth number 3. Cath’s son Finn was born on 18th March 2008. He had some problems and his heart slowed. An emergency cesarean was performed and Finn was born sleeping. He weighed 9lb+ . Any who know my own story might be struck by the similarities. My heart broke for this poor family.
The stories continue with baby Ruby, who was lost in early pregnancy, healthy baby Pearl and finally Dallas was born at 28 weeks.
I have known Cath for some time on facebook. She is an amazing lady. I think our babies brought us together. I cried my eyes out when Dallas was born, and I saw the teeny tiny photos of him in my news feed. I could not imagine that he would survive. He did. Cath and her family are an inspiration to me.
